On Sunday, November 11th, 2001, at 8:48 AM eastern standard time, exactly two months after the first plane hit the World Trade Center, six firefighters from Engine Co. Number 33/Ladder 9 in New York City embarked from Ground Zero on the FDNY Thank You America Bike Tour.

Their story takes the viewer on a three thousand mile bicycle journey across America until finally reaching the California Coast. The journey is a man-powered pilgrimage across the American landscape, and chronicles the six men's experience and efforts to leave the agonizing past, while honoring the dead. The film is also an irreproducible snapshot of how Americans everywhere took their first steps into the dawn of the post-September 11th era. In-depth interviews give voice to rural and small town Americans, caring for a drama that took place hundreds of miles away, but mattered no less.

An award winning team including, Michael Holder, Ziggy Attias, and Ofer Cohen a veteran Cinematographer with twenty years experience, made the documentary film "Ride on Brothera".

Recognizing the historical significance of the FDNY Thank You America Bike Tour, newspapers and magazines across the country covered the event, featured news segments were shown on Nightline, The Today Show, Oprah, ABC News and CNN, all emphasizing this unique event during a fragile moment in the American history. Along with telling the story of the six firemen, the film's mission is to give voice to as many Americans as possible, one way this has been achieved was by conducting interviews along the journey with many people that are seen and heard from in the film. The second way, is through music. . .
